BUILDING ON THE SUCCESS OF LAVC BOYLE HEIGHTS—A PROJECT FOUNDED TO BRING ESSENTIAL VETERINARY CARE TO AN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY—THE NEW JEFFERSON PARK LOCATION CARRIES THAT SAME MISSION FORWARD. HOUSED IN A REGISTERED HISTORIC BUILDING, THIS SECOND LOCATION REQUIRED A DELICATE BALANCE OF MODERNIZATION AND REHABILITATION. R. ARCH LED THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT, EXPERTLY NAVIGATING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LOS ANGELES OFFICE OF HISTORIC RESOURCES ALONGSIDE STATE AND FEDERAL GUIDELINES TO HONOR THE PROPERTY'S HERITAGE WHILE PREPARING IT FOR ITS NEW LIFE.
